Basic Compliances for Online ETA Certification & WPC Certification
- For foreign manufacturers: All foreign manufacturers having branch office located in India or no liaison office have to appoint AIR (Authorized Indian Representative).
- To obtain import certificate, a foreign manufacturer needs to appoint Authorized Indian Representative, which need to added similarly in the WPC ETA certification application process.
- For domestic manufacturers: Those manufacturers who are resident of India can directly obtain ETA license from WPC without nominating AIR.

What is the validity of WPC ETA?
Validity of WPC ETA License is granted for a particular model of product and it’s validity stays for lifelong unless there is any modifications in the model manufactured. Therefore, No renewal is required for WPC ETA License.
